Pet Treats Brand

Tug & Tail

Category

Dog Treats

Scope

Identity, Packaging

Outcome

Distinct Shelf Presence + Strong Brand Recognition

Challenge

Tug & Tail needed to compete in a pet treats aisle full of either clinical "vet-approved" branding or overly cartoonish kids' snack mimicry. The brand needed to feel genuinely wholesome and ingredient-honest, while still being playful enough to capture the joy of a dog's favourite moment, earning a treat.

Solution

We built a bold, candy-colored identity anchored by a friendly hand-drawn dog illustration and a connected "Tug & Tail" wordmark where the ampersand visually ties the name together, just like the brand promise itself. Each flavour, Original Crunchies, Peanut Butter Pops, and Cheesy Chews, owns a distinct, vibrant colour story, while consistent ingredient call-outs ("Real peanut butter. Real pops. Real joy.") and the line "Because every tail deserves a tug" keep the whole range warm, honest, and instantly recognisable.
